The newly introduced program is designed to equip students with practical, hands-on experience in robotics, coding, and electronics. Central to the curriculum is training on advanced microcontroller platforms such as Arduino and ESP32, widely used in modern automation, Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics applications. Through structured learning and guided experimentation, students are introduced to both foundational and advanced concepts in electronics.
Participants will progress from understanding basic circuit design to developing complex control systems, gaining real-world insight into how electronic components, sensors, and software interact. By integrating coding with hardware development, the program effectively bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Students are encouraged to design, build, and program their own functional robotic projects, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical confidence.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director Abdulla Jameel emphasized the importance of preparing students for a technology-driven future. He noted that the Robotics and Coding program reflects Horizon International Academy’s vision of nurturing innovation, critical thinking, and hands-on learning—skills essential for success in STEM-related fields.
This initiative positions Horizon International Academy as a forward-thinking leader in modern coaching and STEM education in the Maldives. By investing in cutting-edge technology and experiential learning, the academy continues to set new benchmarks in academic excellence while empowering students to become creators, innovators, and future leaders in science and technology.
